Information About The Age Categories And Distances Of Spartan Kids

The age categories for the Kids COMPETITIVE heats are:

• 12 - 14 years – 3200 meters → 14-17 obstacles
• 10 – 11 years – 3200 meters → 14-17 obstacles

The age categories for the normal Kids are:

• 10 -15 years* – 3200 meters → 14-17 obstacles
• 7 – 9 years* – 1600 meters → 10-14 obstacles
• 4 – 6 years* – 800 meters → 7-10 obstacles

*Important Information:
Older Kids can downgrade to a shorter distance.
Younger Kids can not upgrade to a longer distance.
The age counts on race day. (Competitive heat has different rules)
